Halo: Spartan Strike received a controversial reception from critics. The weighted average of its selected ratings on the Metacritic site is 66 points out of 100 for the PC version and 86 points for 100 for the iOS version. [3] [4] The mood and gameplay of the game received many praise, but on the other hand, the multiplayer gap and the recharge value were criticized.
Halo: Spartan Strike is a top-down shooter game. Playing is very similar to the first part. The touch screen devices are controlled by two virtual guide bars; Moving the character on the left and aiming to the right. With a computer, it is also possible to use a joystick in addition to the mouse and keyboard.
The player has a motion sensor that shows the location of nearby enemies as well as an energy bill that blocks the player’s damage. Unlike Sparta Assault , the game does not include any micropayments , but everything can only be purchased in the game’s internal currency. The campaign consists of a total of 30 fields, divided into five chapters. The game shares the same storage between different Windows devices, so the game can start with the phone and continue on the computer. The game has weekly challenging challenges like Halo 4 and Reach . The campaign is fighting Covenant – and a new addition to the Promethean Enemies. By performing the challenges of Spartan Strike, it is also possible to open new editing possibilities to Halo: The Master Chief Collection . [1]
Halo: Spartan Strike got better reception from critics than its predecessor , but the reception was still controversial. The weighted average score of Metacritic’s ratings for the PC version of the game is 66 points out of 100 and the average rating of the GameRankings ratings is 70 points out of 100. [3] [6] The iOS version received higher grades and its Point Value Metacritic has 86 points out of 100. [4]
PC version criticized IGN’s Dave Rudden praised the versatility of weapons and enemies over the 13-year history of Halo . He liked the battle and the elimination of micro payments . Rudden was skeptical of his replay value, for he thinks Spartan Strike is repeating itself and there is no co-operative space in the game. [8] GameSpot Miguel Concepcion gave the game seven points out of ten, and also raised the multiplayer gap and the ease of the game. On the other hand, he kept control of the arcade style and the game set from the mix of new and old venues.
[7] New Game Network criticizes Spartan Strikewas almost every way better than its predecessor, but not without any problems. He called the sound track as a shortage and the amount of graphical details was low. In his view, the game was a good replay rating. [10] The critic of the Riot Pixels site was critically acclaimed.
